Elementary Math Mastery is concept-first coaching for grades K through 6. We use global best practices, including Singapore Math’s concrete to pictorial to abstract progressions, number bonds, and bar models, so children truly understand place value, operations, fractions, and word problems. Sessions are one hour, personalized to your child’s learning style, and offered one to one or in small groups, in person or virtual. Families often see students move 6 to 36 months above standards with calmer study time and confident problem-solving.

Place value and the base-ten system; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; word problems with number bonds and bar models; fractions and decimals with visual models; measurement, data, and geometry. Aligned to the New York State Mathematics Learning Standards through grade 6.

How it works
​
We use the concrete pictorial abstract approach seen in top systems like Singapore. Students start with hands on tools such as base ten blocks, counters, and ten frames. They move to pictures such as number lines and bar models, then to symbols and equations. Short, focused explanations with coached practice build accuracy, transfer to word problems, and confidence. One to one or small group. In person locally and virtual available. Typical session is one hour.
