Reading Acceleration

We use the Science of Reading to help PreK to 6 students accelerate: explicit phonemic awareness and systematic phonics to build accurate word recognition, guided practice to develop fluency, and rich language work for strong comprehension. As children practice, the brain’s reading circuit strengthens, including a specialized area called the Visual Word Form Area. Think of it as the brain’s fast word detector. It quickly recognizes letter patterns and connects them to the brain’s sound systems and language networks, so sounds map to meaning more automatically. This is why explicit practice with sounds and spelling patterns leads to smoother, more confident reading that sticks.

Who it’s for

Personalized, concept first instruction grounded in the Science of Reading. Children learn to read before kindergarten and K to 6 readers accelerate well beyond grade level. No memorization. We build true word recognition and language understanding.

What we support

Phonemic awareness and systematic phonics
CVC blending and early decoding
Fluency with phrasing and expression
Vocabulary and background knowledge
Comprehension strategies that match text type
