Before I was an academic strategist, I was exactly where you are: a parent watching a child struggle to reach their full potential, wondering why there wasn't a solution.
That experience changed everything for me. I spent years studying cognitive science, literacy development, executive functioning, and the education systems behind the highest-performing students in the world — from Singapore to Finland to Japan.
It became clear that our schools teach kids what to learn, but not how to learn. Tutors get homework done, but don't fix what's behind the struggles. Tests assess answers, but don't measure learning.

Today, I am directly involved with every student. We build the plan, teach the sessions, review report cards, audit exams for grading errors, and pick up the phone to advocate with teachers when something isn't right.
Almost every new student I take on is a sibling of someone I already work with. Parents don't do that unless it's working.
